1. Cryosphere: all the frozen water present on the earth water system forms the cryosphere. It can be glaciers, sea ice caps, mountain ice, lake ice, river ice etc.
2. Carbon sequestration: It is a process in which, the atmospheric gases like carbon-dioxide or its other forms, is captured and stored for long term in order to reduce its impact on the environment ( either as in the form of global warming or climate change).
3. Carbon sinks : carbon sinks are nothing but the reservoirs ( natural or artificial ) of carbon that accumulate and stores it for long term. In simple words, we can say it is anything that absorbs more carbon than that it releases. for example : forests are the natural carbon sinks.
